I found Yarn Heaven on Monday! River city Yarns in Edmonton. They have an excellent selection and the ladies are great. I picked up some cool yarns for some projects I will be starting later this week.

My First Post - Welcome

Welcome to my Blog

I am looking forward to sharing with you all, my journey making crochet photography props, and gifts for the whole family.  I started this by wanting to book a photographer to do my baby’s newborn pictures in march/April and it was going to be very costly. I know I am a good photographer and though I could do just as good of a job if I just tried. The plan was to purchase some cute hats and props for our session and found that those too were pretty expensive since I know how to knit and crochet as well.  So plan C I started making all my own props and all my friends love the items I have been making, I have been really busy making custom orders for friends and relatives.  I am selling a lot of my work on http://etsy.com/shops/mmeckel
